Chattahoochee Working Group
About
The Chattahoochee Working Group (CWG) is a long-standing and evolving stakeholder group formed during the original Chattahoochee RiverLands Greenway Study in 2018. The group meets monthly to work towards implementing the vision and proposals outlined in the Chattahoochee RiverLands Greenway Study. The CWG serves as a dedicated forum for stewards of the Chattahoochee River, including representatives from municipalities, counties, congressional districts, and nonprofit organizations with missions centered on the River’s health and accessibility. The group offers a valuable platform for sharing information, gathering feedback, and fostering partnerships across jurisdictions. The Design Team will engage the CWG at key milestones to provide updates, gather insights, and ensure regional perspectives inform the planning and design process.
